I made some cute t-shirt dresses for my daughter out of jelly roll strips.
cut your t-shirt off 2 1/2 inches below the arm holes.
Just measure the bottom of the t-shirt and double it.
Cut your stripe to that length. sew each one till you get the desired length. Mine was 6 strips long.
Gather the skirt and sew to bottom of t-shirt.
Take the width of the skirt and double it to make the ruffle.
Cut a band that length and iron it in half. (band should be 4" x88" for a 2T). Gather that and then sew it to the bottom of your skirt. Top stitch ruffle down. easy!!
